Abstract
- The article offers information on the early childhood education model International Curriculum for Languages and Creative Arts (ICLCA). It states that ICLCA focuses mainly on languages and communication skills, creativity and confidence. According to Birgit A. Ertl, founder and director of the Children's Garden (TCG) pre-schools at which the ICLCA is being developed, the ICLCA really works because people now place far more importance on personality and enthusiasm than on paper qualifications. It notes that promoting the three key qualities in children which are creativity, confidence and communication skills is what defines successful early childhood education.
