10. Recommendations.

The article discusses the recommendations given by the Expert Committee in the control of leishmaniasis which was adopted by the World Health Assembly in 2007. It suggests that the World Health Organization (WHO) should lead the empowerment of control programs in case government programs do not succeed in addressing control. It states that various areas should be dealt with in the implementation which includes parasitology, vector control, and drugs and vaccines.
