Abstract
- The article discusses how the French government has put in place a system, since August 24, 2010, that focuses on developing Islamic banking in France. The author discusses how Islamic banking works and states it is based on respecting the five principles of the Koran. Topics of discussion include the main objective of this French government undertaking, the development of Islamic banking in Great Britain, and a discussion on the overall European Muslim population.
