Abstract

The article features several tourist attractions in Washington, D.C. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts was designed by architect Edward Durrell Stone and located on 17 acres of land that overlooked the Potomac River. Other popular tourist attractions are cited, including the Library of Congress, Union Station and the Washington National Cathedral.
