Abstract
- The article presents news briefs about jazz musicians and performances in the summer of 2009. It is noted that the life of jazz trombonist Jiggs Whigham will be portrayed in a biographical motion picture in February 2010. It is announced that a jazz festival titled "Enjoy Jazz" will be held in Heidelberg, Germany, Mannheim, Germany, and Ludwigshafen, Germany from October 2, 2009 to November 11, 2009.
