Abstract

The article discusses a research study on the cost-effectiveness of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) as a function of angina severity in patients with stable angina. The researchers assessed angina severity using the Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ). They determined that incremental cost of PCI to provide meaningful clinical benefit was lower for patients with severe angina than those with mild or no angina.
