Abstract
- The article discusses the presence of telepresence robots in classrooms. Examples of robots that go to class in place of sick students are given such as the VGo robot in Knox, Texas and the R. Bot 100 robot in Russia. The capabilities of the VGo robot are described. Telepresence robots controlled by teachers in the Philippines are standing in for teachers in South Korea.
