Information about the 1st Workshop on Digital Library Interoperability, Best Practices and Modelling Foundations in Corfu, Greece on October 1, 2009 is presented. Topics include the challenges and priorities for archiving digital library (DL) interoperability and global DL infrastructures. The workshop, which was held in conjunction with the 13th European Conference on Digital Libraries, also featured participants such as Leonardo Candela, Donatella Castelli, and Yannis Ioannidis.
