Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of parental alienation syndrome that may result to domestic violence, and gender bias among within families. It says that the evolution of the cause of action for parental alienation syndrome to parental alienation (PA) led to several undesirable results which offer unfair effect on women. Hence, to reduce the effect of PA on mothers, courts must discuss pubic policy on the dangers of alienation induced by their decline of a common-law on child's affection.
