Abstract

As friendly neighbors separated only by a narrow strip of water, China and Japan boast similar cultural and educational heritage. To intensify the cultural and educational exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Japanese universities is a major manifestation of the internationalization of higher education. Chinese and Japanese universities have been conducting cultural and educational exchange and cooperation in comparatively wide areas. In order to develop in depth and breadth the cultural and educational exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Japanese universities, we need to intensify dialogues and communication between senior leaders of Chinese and Japanese universities, to explore the cultivation mode of high-level talents, to promote cooperation between scientific and research institutions, and to set up and improve the policies and regulations on education, creating a favorable policy environment.
