1971 The Pentagon Papers.

The article reports on the secret documents from the U.S. Department of Defense about the Vietnam War which turned into one of the most important First Amendment battles in the country's history. On June 13, 1971, two articles about a secret study by the agency about the country's involvement in Vietnam were published by "The New York Times." When the newspaper announced that it will publish articles about the study, President Richard Nixon did not react, however, he changed his mind upon the advice of national security adviser, Henry Kissinger.
