A Cross-Atlantic Conversation on Teaching Papermaking to Children.

An interview with papermaking instructors Winnie Radolan and Jonathan Korejko is presented. They compare strategies they use to introduce young people to the making of paper, such as encouraging people to set up their own papermaking units and educating them about the history of papermaking. They describe the extent to which they communicate with schools and teachers when they design lessons. They also talk about the role of papermaking as a cross-curricular vehicle for learning history, science and art.
