The article discusses the legal disagreement opposing luxury giants Lvmh and Hermès, following the entry of the former into the capital of the latter, with particular focus given to strategies which aim is to differentiate Hermès and to affirm its independence vis-à-vis Lvmh. Additional attention is given to its new flagship store inaugurated in Paris' prestigious rue de Sèvres.
