The article focuses on the argument concerning the isolation of traditional International Business Management Corp. (IBM) i programmers and the breaking up of the web development teams of many information technology (IT) organizations. It is believed that traditional IBM i programmers have indeed delivered to core business applications and logic necessary for the foundation of many businesses. However, web-focused development teams are argued to have lack understanding on such aspects.
