Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the quantitative changes, the pupal stage, and the metamorphosis of the silkworm Bombyx mori. The study uses the glycoside existing in low blood sugar values, the X-ray photographs of the pupal bodies, and the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The study shows that the silkworm Bombyx mori identified an increase in glycoside, while the ammonia in the pupal bodies is caused by the y-cyclic di-L-glutamate and L-methionine.
