Abstract

This article focuses on the literary works of poet Charles Olson. It states that Olson believes that there is a double-trouble among human beings, such as people who are confined to the mechanism of projection and people who are full of the old religion-art intuition. Furthermore, it discusses how and when Olson started to develop his quest in realizing the grail of intuition, wherein he uses two cities in Massachusetts such as Worcester as the winding river and Gloucester as the bright splendor.
