Abstract

The article presents a paper which discusses the issue of cyberstalking as a crime which is amenable to and resistant of traditional legislation depending on the exploitation of the Internet in Australia. The crime serves as the potential of the Internet to facilitate crimes and point to the available interventions and their effectivity. It involves different approaches such as legislative interventions, personal prevention strategies, and technological solutions to technological flaws. It provides an example of cyber crime which can be regulated and responded to by the criminal justice system.
