Abstract
- The article presents the investigation of Learning Forward on the impact of federal legislation and policy to the professional development in the U.S. It takes a look on the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) which recently authorized as the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. It formulates policy agenda with detailed suggestions for laws to guide the use of professional learning to the Congress, the White House, U.S. Department of Education and other education organizations.
