With most kids out of school for two weeks, it's good to know the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk arcades and bowling lanes are open daily (including Christmas), and the Roaring Camp Holiday Lights Train makes round-trip runs from the Boardwalk through Thursday. The evening ride through city streets includes caroling, hot cider, live music, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
