Abstract

The article discusses the analysis of error related to the direct in-vivo measurements of radionuclides present in a wound. The authors illustrate the error analysis by considering the radiation injury to a hand using the Americium radionuclide. According to them, the results of error analysis show that remarkable errors may propagate if the lowest energy peaks of Americium are used during the measurements of the wound.
