Abstract

The article reports on Project "e-scape" (Electronic Solutions for Creative Assessment in Portfolio Environments), an electronic tool used to assess a student's scientific enquiry skills in England. The article describes the project as a form of assessment in which pupils could record their actions and thoughts in a mini-laptop computers which are then wirelessly linked to the teacher's laptop. The recorded responses of the children while doing the science experiments will be used as an assessment evidence to demonstrate their attainment.
