Abstract

The article focuses on physicist and recording engineer David Griesinger and Shure senior applications engineer Tim Vear, who gave presentations at the meetings held by the Boston Section of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) in Massachusetts in April and May 2010. It notes that the presentation "The Relationship Between Audience Engagement and Our Ability to Perceive the Pitch," by Griesinger was broken up into three parts, namely, physics, psychology and acoustics. One of the three topics covered in a talk delivered by Vear is spectrum changes.
