Le développement durable urbain.

A literary criticism of the books "Sociologie du développement durable urbain, projets et stratégies métropolitaines françaises," by Philippe Hamman and Christine Blanc and "Penser le développement durable urbain: regards croisés," edited by Philippe Hamman is presented. A mutual theme of durable urban development using transversal approaches is analyzed. It outlines the definition of durable urban development and explores research and projects developed with the collaboration of the Université de Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France.
