FUTURE DEMAND FOR MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH SERVICES FROM PUBLIC HEALTH FACILITIES IN UTTAR PRADESH.

The article focuses on the possible increase in the demand for maternal and child health facilities in Uttar Pradesh, India. According to the author, the maternal and child health services in the area remained inadequate despite the population growth in the country. It also presents the barriers for the effective functioning of health facilities in the area which include the lack of human resources, limited preparedness for health centers, and lack of proper equipment to provide basic services.
