Red-flowered Currant, Flowering Currant.

The scientific name of the plant is Ribes sanguineum of the Saxifrage family. It describes the plant to have a thornless bush that can grow two to ten feet high. The plant is found growing at low elevations, along streams, in coastal forest, and along roads, from western British Columbia to northwestern California.
