Abstract

The article evaluates the relationships between housing and distribution of invasive exotic plant species in New England. It was found through regression analysis that this plant strongly relates to housing variables than other human and environmental variables. The richness of this plant relates positively to area of wildland-urban interface, low-density residential areas, and change in number of housing units. It is expected that the number of this plant increases as housing grows.
