Abstract
- This paper provides an example of a mixed methods measure rooted in a pragmatic approach aimed at resolving the traditional divisions between Quantitative and Qualitative research. Through the use of concept maps, multi-stage data collection and a weighted measure, defined as a salience score, this methodological approach seeks to root a mixed methods approach in an integrated theoretical framework. While complications exist, and inherent assumptions are required, the proposed approach may offer an initial means to consider on what basis a mixed methods measure could be conceived, compiled and justified. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
