Analysis of Wu Mengchuang's Ci Written in Hangzhou and the Naming of Deceased Second Wife or Deceased Prostitute.

After an analysis of 14 love cis by Wu Mengchuang in Hangzhou, this paper argues that four of them, plus other three, constitute a self--contained frame of Hangzhou love cis. Moreover, this paper finds that the deceased lady simply refers to a prostitute instead of Wu's second wife. It also points out that all the Hangzhou cis are not written in spring, with autumn being sporadically inserted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
