Abstract
- The article reports on the decision of the U.S. Navy to reimburse junior sailors who are shorted on clothing allowance for Navy working uniforms (NWUs), announced by Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Gary Roughead. Payment is expected to start in October 2010. He added that they are locating such sailors and pay the full cost of the four sets of NWUs immediately. Shorted sailors include those who entered boot camp from October 1, 2007 to April 26, 2009 and received old utilities instead of the new NWUs due to production delays.
