Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 35-year old female diagnosed with 8-centimeter ovarian tumor and was advised to undergo surgery but has refused. It mentions that after a year, the woman was found to have a huge pelvic mass mixed with cystic and solid portions. The article differentiates an ovarian yolk sac tumor which is a malignant ovarian neoplasm that occurs in young age from endometroid carcinoma which happens in older patients.
