Abstract

The article offers information on diet required for people doing strength training. It states that heavy training and gaining strength does not mean eating junk food. In fact it requires a planned diet with correct proportions of nutrients. Proteins make a vital part of such a diet as its intake helps in building the muscle strength. One needs to reduce the carbohydrates as it can increase the body fat. Fat is also an important part of the strength training diet, but it needs to be dietary fat.
