Abstract
- The author responds to the "In Your View" article concerning primary school science by John Stringer in the April 2010 issue of "EiS." The author is cautiously optimistic about science in primary schools, saying that its importance is recognized in schools and that primary schools are positive about curriculum change. She also comments on teacher assessment, continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities, and the publishing of science literature.
