Abstract

The article is the second installment of a series on how to market a podiatry practice. The author advises podiatrists to know their target audience when placing advertisements. Suggestions for promoting a practice on the internet include placing the company's website address on promotional literature, ensuring the office is listed in online directories, and registering the website with search engines. The article looks at the differences between the social media websites Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
