Abstract
- The article presents a survey of oral biopsies in Brazilian pediatric patients. The total number of specimens surveyed was 1018. The most prevalent group of lesions studied comprised the cysts of the jaws and oral soft tissues. The most prevalent biopsies found in pediatric patients were follicular cysts, inflammatory fibrous hyperplasia, mucoceles, dental follicles, radicular cysts.
