Abstract
- We proposed in situ generation of cyclohexenyl peroxide as a surface oxidant in solution of CdSe quantum dots and verified it by monitoring emission wavelengths and intensities of CdSe and CdSe--ZnS in cyclohexene, respectively. A clear 80 nm blue shift in the emission was observed in CdSe--ZnS over 3 mon due to the slow diffusion of the oxidant, while a 10 nm shift was in CdSe for 24 h. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
