Abstract
- The article presents a study on the restoration programs of forest in Azores using the two experimental designs, the so-called "before-after control-impact" (BACI) and the "control-impact" (CI). Based on the experiment, after two years of the removal of alien plants, it is found out that using BACI, there was an increase of abundance on native plants while a decrease on using CI. Both methods lead to a positive effect on the weeding process.
