Abstract
- The article reports that California-based Adept Technologies Inc. has purchased MobileRobots Inc.. The move is considered to bring MobileRobots into the big leagues of the robot industry. Adept chief executive John Dulchinos says that its newly acquired business will be a division of Adept in Amherst. He emphasizes that MobileRobots becomes attractive as it evolves from its origins in the research community to the commercial world.
