Hybridization Between Blue-footed (Sula nebouxii) and Peruvi (Sula variegata) Boobies in Northern Peru.

The article discusses a study which investigated the hybridization between Blue-footed (Sula nebouxii) and Peruvian (Sula variegata) Boobies on Lobos de Tierra Island and Lobos de Afuera islands in Northern Peru. The researchers took morphological measurements, feather and blood samples over three field seasons. It was found that there was a rare incident of hybridization between the three species.
