Abstract

The article presents a study on the epidemiology of Haemophilus parasius, the etiologic agent of Glässers disease, which causes high morbidity and mortality rates in China. It focuses on the analysis of the H. parasius strain through enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus polymerase chain reaction (ERIC-PRC). It states that ERIC-PRC is indicated to assess the prevalence and identify the genotypes of H. parasius in a region.
