Abstract

The article discusses a research study on the probability of producing circulatory arrest by occlusion of the pulmonary trunk as a substitute to the venous inflow occlusion through the left hemithorax. It states that mongrel dogs were divided into two groups wherein group one underwent outflow occlusion while the other group underwent circulatory arrest for eight minutes. It mentions that several examinations were performed including, but not limited to, echocardiography, electrocardiography, and physical examination.
