Abstract
- The article reports on the partnership between AudioCodes and Avaya to provide a hybrid solution that offers centralized, distributed communication architectures. According to the author, the companies' hybrid architecture, called the Survivable Intelligent Edge (SIE), allows users to retain their connectivity in the wide area network. The author adds that the SIE improves survivability and reliability of remote offices. A description of companies that implement SIE is provided.
