Abstract
- A conference paper regarding the study which investigates wellbore-instability in Cretaceous mudstones located at the Clair oil field in West of Shetlands, England. It offers an overview about Clair oil field in which it says that it was discovered in 1977 and had its first production in February 2005. It discusses the tests conducted including unconfined-compressive strength (UCS), single-stage triaxial, and mud-compatibility test. Moreover, it explores the characteristics of mudstones used.
