Abstract
- The article focuses on the competition between the newspapers "Wall Street Journal" and "The New York Times" in New York. Rupert Murdoch owner of "Wall Street Journal" plans to make it a broader newspaper with bigger outreach. On April 26, 2010 it launched its New York edition to become more of a general interest paper and challenge "Times." In response "Times" has started a new weekday real estate column, an advertisement campaign and made New York private schools a regular feature.
