Abstract

The article discusses research on the benefit of reassessment of the uterine cavity prior to in vitro fertilization (IVF) in women who have undergone antitubercular treatment for genital tuberculosis. It references a study by Anupama Bahadur and colleagues in a 2010 issue of the "International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics." Women with genital tuberculosis were examined, given antitubercular drugs for six months, and underwent a second-look hysteroscopy. Results showed the cruciality of a reassessment for a better prognosis of IVF.
