Abstract

The article discusses a study on the susceptibility of turbot, halibut, and cod to various Vibrio (V.) anguillarum strains. The types of turbot, halibut, and cod used in the study were Scophthalmus maximus, Hippoglossus hipploglossus, and Gadus morhua, respectively. A multidish system was used to perform the bath challenge experiments. Results of the immunohistochemical examinations indicated a variety of histopathology. The Vibriosis pathogens affecting aquaculture are identified including V. anguillarum, V. ordalii, and V. salmonicida.
