Abstract
- The article discusses research on the differences between the genotypes Porcine circovirus (PCV) in paraffin-embedded as well as formalin-fixed tissues in pigs. It references a study by Chanhee Chae and colleagues, published in the 2010 issue of the "Journal of the Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation." The researchers examined the genotypes using in situ hybridization assay. They found that PCV is commonly associated with pigs that are infected with chronic bronchointerstitial pneumonia.
