Abstract

The article presents information about plaice, which has the scientific name Pleuronectes platessa. Considered as a common flatfish, the plaice is colored brown on the upper side and has a white underside. Baits ideal for attracting plaice include shellfish, slipper limpet and soft crab. It is also recommended to have a light tackle.
