Abstract

The article offers information on several types of tooth abnormalities, including bulimia, dentinogenesis imperfecta, and chronic endemic fluorosis. Bulimia is a compulsive-eating disorder characterized by repeated episodes of binge eating followed by vomiting. Dentinogenesis imperfecta is a hereditary disorder of dentin and can be treated by functional and aesthetic restoration. Chronic endemic fluorosis is caused by excessive dietary levels of fluoride and can be treated by cosmetic bleaching.
