Abstract

The article focuses on a study on the prevalence and prognostic value of elevated urinary albumin excretion in patients with chronic heart failure. The study also evaluated the effects of randomized treatments on albumin excretion in a subgroup of participants. It discovered that randomized treatments had no impact on albumin excretion. It concluded that elevated albumin excretion was a prognostic marker in patients with chronic heart failure.
