Chapter 7: Residential REITs.

Chapter 7 of the book "Complete Guide to Investing in Reits-Real Estate Investment Trusts: How to Earn High Rates of Return Safely" is presented. It is devoted to residential real estate investment trusts (REIT), and states that apartments make up the central product. Some similarities to office REITs exist, such as grading scale, building type and the relationship between tenants and landlords. A history of the development of the apartment industry in the U.S. is cited and compared to the housing industry.
